The Immigration Crisis in Europe and the Impacts on the Covid-19 Global Control

Abstract

Europe is facing the most serious migrant crisis since World War II with the majority of migrants from Syria and other African countries. It is worth mentioning that this challenge has increased dramatically and complicatedly, affecting many fields, not only in terms of socio-economy, but also shakening the "humanistic" values inherent in the Old Continent. In addition to the complicated and severe impacts of the global Covid-19 pandemic, the migration crisis in Europe, to make a bad situation worse, poses major challenges for pandemic control.  In this article, the author presents the state of the migration crisis in Europe and the implications for controlling the global Covid-19 pandemic.
