Abstract
The use of games in the language classroom can create a multimodal
environment, where students are encouraged to engage in different learning experiences,
including visual, auditory and verbal interactions. This paper investigates the
advantages of incorporating games into language classes to cultivate
proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The paper
highlights two games, Bingo and Trivia, which can be adapted in various ways to
facilitate language teaching and practice.
