Abstract
Fujian, which is
located in the southeast coast of China, has bred a variety of art forms with
its unique geographical location and rich cultural heritage, especially the
line drawing art. Line drawing, as one of the important techniques of Chinese
painting, has been inherited and developed in Fujian with its simple and lively
lines and simple and unadorned techniques of expression. The concept of
"Fujian people advocating line" has given Fujian line drawing art
profound cultural connotation and distinctive regional characteristics. This
paper aims to explore the artistic characteristics of Fujian line drawing under
the concept of "Fujian people advocate line",
and reveal its unique artistic charm and value through the case of specific
artists.
